The Weatherby Mark V rifle action is a highly-renowned premium rifle action for its quality of machining, strength, and accuracy. The Accumark series of rifles from Weatherby are purpose-built for precision long-range accuracy in a lightweight rifle that is able to be carried in the field on long days. While Weatherby guarantees their rifles to be capable of at least 1.5 MOA, many users have found their guns to be capable of sub-MOA groups. This Mark V Accumark is chambered in .25-06 Remington and is bedded in a Monte Carlo-style laminated fiberglass stock with matte grey and black spiderweb/splatterpaint finish. The rifle features an adjustable trigger, Pachmayr Decelerator rubber buttpad, and traditional hinged magazine floorplate. The rifle holds 4 cartridges in the magazine. A set of Leupold twist-in scope bases is fixed to the receiver. Weight is reduced by flutes cut along the length of the barrel and boltalso adding additional smoothness and lubricity to the action. The rifle's condition is impressive. The barrel is very clean with no pitting or rust and excellent condition of rifling. The stock and finish are pretty much flawless. The bolt handle's finish has worn on the top and front, about where your thumb might rest. There are also a few very slight nicks on the bottom of the magazine floorplate, which are mainly only visible in certain lighting angles. The rifle does not include any additional accessories, aside from the attached Leupold bases.
