Description
Roy Weatherby set out to make the best 22 rifles on the market. By some measures he succeeded with the Mark XXII. This one was manufactured by Nikko, Japan during the time period 1972-1980. The walnut Monte-Carlo stock features skipline checkering, rosewood tip/grip caps with white line spacers, and detachable box magazine. It has a low raised comb and cheekpiece. The action has the ability to be loaded singly through the ejection port, and the bolt released by pressing forward on the safety. A very real advantage when shooting at targets for score.
