A modern side-by-side with classic styling, the Weatherby Orion SxS is furnished with Grade-A Turkish walnut, oil-rubbed for a beautiful satin finish. The shotgun features double triggers, a thin splinter forend, and straight English-style stock for the classic look of an old fowling gun. The Weatherby Orion SxS utilizes a strong boxlock action and is able to chamber up to 3" shells. Its deep, textured swamp groove rib keeps shooters heads low and offers a solid cheek weld when on the gun. The rib is topped with a single brass bead at the end. This shotgun includes a set of extended choke tubes (modified, improved modified, improved cylinder, skeet, full) and is compatible with Yildiz-pattern choke tubes. This piece is in quite good condition and is ready to head into the fields or hit the clay range. The finish honest wear from handling and usage, but is not discolored and not completely missing in any areas, though it is a bit thinner in some spots. The barrels utilize extractors and are 28" long, with no rust or pitting in the barrels. The bluing on the barrels also looks in near-perfect condition. This Weatherby Orion SxS does not include a box or case.
