Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Outfitter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 22-250 Remington, built for shooters who want a lightweight, accurate centerfire rifle. Its 24-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 to accept a muzzle brake, and the 1-in-14 rate of twist is matched to the 22-250 cartridge for bullet stability over long distances.
The rifle has a Graphite Black Cerakote finish, a polymer stock, and a weight of 6.75 pounds with an overall length of 44 inches. It is a right-hand rifle with a five-round capacity, an adjustable two-stage trigger, and a three-position safety. The fluted barrel and bolt body reduce weight and aid cooling during extended shooting sessions.
The 1/2x28 thread pattern accommodates the Accubrake muzzle brake, which is intended to reduce recoil. The rifle is sold with a 5 plus 1 capacity designation in the specifications.
