Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact 223 Rem 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact Features The Weatherby Vanguard Synthetic Compact is built around a cold hammer forged barrel chambered in .223 Rem cut with a 1:9 twist that stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights for consistent sub-MOA capable accuracy. A fluted bolt body reduces weight and helps the action cycle smoothly while the two-stage adjustable trigger lets the shooter fine-tune pull characteristics for a clean repeatable break. The threaded #1 contour barrel is capped with a thread protector and finished in matte blued for a durable low-glare surface. A 3-position safety gives the shooter the ability to work the bolt safely with the safety still engaged a useful feature in the field. The black synthetic stock features an adjustable length of pull allowing the rifle to grow with a young or smaller-framed shooter rather than being replaced as they mature. A hinged floorplate offers quick easy unloading in the field and the matte blued drilled and tapped receiver accepts a scope base without additional gunsmithing. Weighing 6.5 pounds the rifle stays light and easy to carry on long hunts or at the range. Purpose-built for growing shooters and hunters who need a compact accurate .223 platform the Vanguard Synthetic Compact is ready to mount glass and head to the field.
