Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard 300 WBY Mag 24" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Features The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard pairs a burnt bronze Cerakote finish on the barrel receiver and trigger guard with a Monte Carlo synthetic stock sprayed in black with bronze webbing giving the rifle a distinctive premium look at an accessible price. Each rifle is hand fitted for exact alignment and stability between the barreled action and the stock a step typically reserved for higher end hunting platforms. The 24 inch number 2 contour barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded 1/2 by 28 letting hunters add a suppressor or muzzle brake without gunsmithing. A 1 in 10 twist rate stabilizes the heavier bullets commonly loaded in .300 Weatherby Magnum for long range big game hunting. An adjustable match quality two stage trigger gives the shooter a crisp repeatable break for precise shot placement on game at extended range. The fluted one piece machined bolt body reduces weight and adds surface area for debris to escape keeping the action cycling smoothly through a hunt. A fully enclosed bolt sleeve and three position safety add a layer of field reliability and user control not always found at this price point. With an integral recoil lug and hinged floorplate rounding out the action the Vanguard Weatherguard weighs 7.5 pounds and is built to deliver dependable performance on dangerous or long range game.
