Weatherby MZY Ramrod 26 w/ Carry Case for Model 307

Weatherby MZY Ramrod Features The Weatherby MZY ramrod is designed to collapse for compact storage making it easy to carry alongside a Model 307 muzzleloader without adding bulk to a range bag or field pack. Weatherby deliberately chose not to mount the ramrod on the stock or along the barrel a decision that keeps the barrel free of extra vibration during firing. Many entry-level muzzleloaders attach the ramrod directly against the barrel which can introduce harmonic issues that affect accuracy over time. By keeping the ramrod separate the MZY avoids these problems entirely. A dedicated carry case accompanies the ramrod giving shooters a simple way to keep this 26 accessory organized and protected between range trips or hunts. This attention to accuracy-preserving design reflects the same precision focus found throughout the Model 307 platform. Muzzleloader shooters who want to maintain the inherent accuracy of their rifle will appreciate a ramrod built to stay out of the way of the barrel s harmonics. The Weatherby MZY ramrod is a straightforward purpose-built accessory for anyone running the Model 307 muzzleloader.
