Weaver #47 Top Mount Scope Base Gloss Black

The Weaver #47 is a top mount scope base in gloss black aluminum that attaches directly to the receiver to hold a scope over the bore. It is intended for rifles from the listed makes and models, including Browning A-Bolt and Medallion, Marlin MR7, Sears 53, and Winchester 70 and 670/770 actions.

Each base is machined to close tolerances for a custom fit. A square-cut notch mates with the cross bolt of a Weaver detachable ring, which is meant to resist the effects of recoil. Mounting hardware is included.

Fitment varies by model and position. Browning Medallion bases fit both front and rear positions, while the BBR LA/SA, Cooey 71, Enfield, Marlin MR7, Sears 53, and Winchester 70 LA, 300 Magnum, 70 SA, 670, and 770 are listed for the rear position only. Enfield rifles require the action to be cut down like a Winchester 70.
