Description
The Weaver Top Mount Base #97 is a one-piece scope base for mounting an optic to the receiver of a rifle. This gloss black aluminum base is built for the Remington 700 platform and is intended for use with Weaver-style detachable rings.
The base is machined to close tolerances and uses a square-cut notch that engages the cross bolt in Weaver detachable rings, which helps resist recoil. It is finished in gloss black and is listed as a receiver-mount base.
It fits Remington 700 Short Action, 40X Short Action, and 725 Short Action receivers, as well as BSA Monarch medium action models. Mounting hardware is included.
