The Weaver Top Mount Base #35 is a one-piece front scope base in gloss black aluminum, made to attach a scope to a Remington 700 receiver. Each base is machined for a precise fit, and its square-cut notch mates with the cross bolt of a Weaver detachable ring to help resist recoil.
The base is listed for the Remington 700 and 78 short action in 17, 222, 222 Mag., 22-250, 243, 6mm and 308, and for the Remington 700 long action. Other listed platforms include Howa/Interarms, Mossberg 1500 and 1700, Ruger M77 round top and Sauer 200, with the Savage 40A supported on the front base only.
