Description
The Weaver Top Mount Base 36M is a one-piece aluminum scope base that attaches to the receiver of a rifle to hold scope rings. It is finished in matte black and is designed for the Remington 700 platform.
The base is machined to close tolerances for a custom fit. A square-cut notch mates with the cross bolt of a Weaver detachable ring to help resist recoil.
The base fits Remington 700 and 78 short and long actions, Remington 721, 722 and 725, Weatherby Vanguard, BSA Monarch, Mossberg 1500 and 1700, and Smith & Wesson 1500, 1600 and 1700 models, among others. Mounting hardware is included.
