Wilson Combat Bullet Proof 1911 Beavertail High-Ride Grip Safety Blued

The Wilson Combat Bullet Proof High-Ride Beavertail is a grip safety for 1911 pistols, intended to improve comfort and controllability during shooting. Its high-ride design lets the shooting hand sit closer to the plane of the bore, and its broad rounded surface spreads recoil across the palm.

The bottom of the grip safety has a raised Posi-Release tab that helps ensure positive disengagement and gives the shooter a consistent grip reference on each draw. The top includes a hammer pocket that allows a commander or bobbed spur hammer to sit down in the beavertail while cocked, reducing snagging. The part has a blued finish and is listed in blue.

This grip safety fits 1911 pistols but requires frame modification for installation. A fitting jig is available separately under part number 298-932.
