The Wilson Combat Beavertail Grip Safety Drop-In is a replacement grip safety for 1911 Government pistols. It is designed to improve hand control of the handgun and to reduce the discomfort and hammer bite that can occur with stock grip safeties.
This drop-in part is made of steel with a stainless steel finish in silver. It is compatible with both commander style and bobbed spur hammers. Installation may require slight modifications to the beavertail trigger engagement area to achieve proper fit.
