Description
The Wilson Combat 47D is an 8-round magazine for full-size 1911 pistols chambered in .45 ACP. It is built as a replacement or spare for the 1911 platform and is offered in a stainless finish.
The magazine body is made from .027 inch 17-7 PH stainless steel that is heat-treated for durability. The spring is fabricated from high tensile strength wire, and the fiber-filled nylon follower is self-lubricating. Both sides of the tube have witness slots, and the follower has an extended skirt to minimize creep when the magazine is empty.
The magazine includes a removable .350 inch thick plastic base pad that provides a secure grip when withdrawing the magazine from a pouch.
