Winchester XPR Extreme SR 6.8 Western 20" 3-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Winchester XPR Extreme SR Features The Winchester XPR Extreme SR centers on a spiral fluted barrel finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote a design that removes extra metal to cut weight without sacrificing the barrel s stiffness or accuracy. The barrel is free-floating and threaded 5/8x24 letting the shooter add a suppressor or muzzle brake to tame recoil and manage the effects of the powerful 6.8 Western cartridge. A drilled and tapped steel receiver also finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote is ready to accept a scope base without any additional machining. The M.O.A. Trigger System gives the shooter a clean consistent trigger break while the two-position thumb safety and bolt unlock button provide straightforward intuitive field controls. The fixed Mossy Oak Bottomland synthetic stock wraps the action in a camouflage finish built to blend into wooded hunting terrain while standing up to weather and rough handling. An Inflex Technology recoil pad is built into the stock to reduce felt recoil from the 6.8 Western cartridge keeping repeat shots manageable in the field. Sling swivel studs come installed from the factory so the rifle is ready to carry on a sling without additional gunsmithing. At 7.80 pounds and a 40 inch overall length the Winchester XPR Extreme SR balances portability with the heft needed to steady a shot on distant big game.
