Winchester ~ 1885 High Wall ~ .22 WCF

A classic American falling-block rifle, the Winchester 1885 High Wall reigned supreme once metal cartridges became commonplace with common gunowners. Designed by John Moses Browning himself, the High Wall was as elegant as it was functional, with a self-cocking and self-ejecting action that allowed for seemless reloading. This late 1890s production rifle is a fine example, with a 26" barrel, flip up peep sight, and superb rifling in its original barrel. Natural patina has formed around the action and barrel, while the wood furniture has a few blemishes, but still maintains the original varnish. No extras included. Chambered in .22 WCF.
