Description
The Winchester Model 1892 Large Loop Carbine is a lever-action rifle chambered in 44-40 WCF, a pistol cartridge that keeps recoil manageable for shooters new to lever guns. It is widely used in Cowboy Action Shooting competition and is often recommended as a training rifle for young shooters.
This carbine has a 20-inch barrel, a 10-round capacity, a blued finish, and a walnut stock. Sights include an adjustable rear sight and a brass bead front sight. The large loop lever is designed for use with gloves, and the top-tang safety sits on the tang behind the hammer. The rifle is offered for right-handed shooters.
The steel contoured carbine buttplate, straight grip, and saddle ring are included. The rifle is chambered only in 44-40 WCF.
