Winchester 94 Rifle, .32 Winchester Special, 26″ Barrel

The Winchester Model 1894 Sporting Rifle chambered in .32 Winchester Special with a 26-inch barrel is a highly coveted, early-production masterpiece of American lever-action history. Introduced by Winchester in 1901 with factory assembly starting in 1902, the .32 Winchester Special cartridge was explicitly paired with standard 26-inch solid-frame sporting rifle barrels during its initial decades of production. While the shorter 20-inch carbine format eventually became the ubiquitous postwar standard, these early 26-inch "Long Rifles" remain prized by collectors for their majestic balance and historical significance.
