Winchester ~ 1886 ~ .33 WCF (SKU: 5328531)

This Winchester Model 1886 lever-action rifle is chambered in .33 WCF and bears serial number 155599A. Based on available Winchester serial number references, this rifle was manufactured in 1918. The rifle shows honest age-related wear consistent with a well-preserved sporting arm, including handling marks on the wood and thinning finish on the receiver and metal surfaces. The walnut stock retains an attractive appearance, and the rifle presents well overall for its age. Designed by John M. Browning, the Winchester Model 1886 was engineered to handle larger and more powerful cartridges than earlier Winchester lever actions, earning a reputation as one of the strongest and most successful lever-action rifles of its era. The .33 WCF chambering was introduced during the smokeless powder era and became a popular choice for hunting deer, elk, and other North American game.
