Description
The XS R3D 2.0 Optic-Ready Night Sight Set is an iron sight system for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and M&P Shield Plus pistols. It uses a traditional notch-and-post arrangement with tritium front and rear night sights, intended to aid sight alignment in low light.
The rear sight is serrated to reduce glare and has a 0.170 inch wide notch, which allows more visibility on either side of the front post. The rear sight includes a ledge to assist one-handed manipulation. The set is finished in orange and uses tritium lamps in both the front and rear sights.
The sights are designed for optic-ready Shield and Shield Plus models, so they can be used as a backup or alongside a mounted optic.
