Specifications
Description
The XS R3D 2.0 Night Sight Set is a traditional notch-and-post iron sight system for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Shield Plus pistols with optics-ready slides. The set pairs a green tritium front post with a rear sight that uses tritium lamps to aid alignment in low light.
The rear sight has a 0.170 inch wide notch that shows more of the front post on either side for faster alignment. Its serrated surface is intended to reduce glare, and a ledge on the rear sight is designed to aid one-handed manipulation. The 2.0 version uses brighter tritium lamps than the original R3D.
The set is intended for concealed carry and defensive use on compatible M&P Shield and Shield Plus pistols.
