Description
The XS Sight Systems Standard Dot is a replacement front bead for shotgun vent rib sights, intended for shooters who want a bright, easy-to-see front sight on a vent rib barrel. It is a do-it-yourself installation and does not require special gunsmithing tools or magnets for timing.
The sight uses a brass post in matte finish with a green photoluminescent Standard Dot. The post is available in three thread sizes, 5-40, M2.5x.45, and M3x.5, to match common shotgun vent rib threads. A friction taper lock design holds the bead on the barrel. The dot is described as glowing in low light for use at dusk or dawn.
The sight is listed as fitting Mossberg, Remington, Beretta, Benelli, CZ, Browning, and Stoeger vent rib shotguns.
