Specifications
Description
The XS Big Dot Tritium Front Sight is a steel bead front sight for the Remington 870 shotgun, designed for defensive use where quick acquisition and visibility in low light matter. Its convex yellow dot is machined from solid steel and uses a tritium insert that glows without an external light source.
The sight is listed for Remington 870 shotguns with a bead sight diameter of .125 to .140 inch. The dot is a high-contrast yellow color, and the tritium insert is designed to glow in low-light conditions. XS notes that the convex dot's extra surface area is intended to increase light absorption.
