The front sight features a proprietary photoluminescent Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low-light conditions. Its convex shape increases the surface area, maximizing light absorption and intensifying the Glow Dot's brightness. In creating the DXW2 sights, we focused on making them large and highly visible to address common issues like aging eyes and deteriorating vision. Our testing revealed that the orange front sight is most effective in daylight, while the yellow variant shines brighter in low-light scenarios. The rear sight incorporates a shallow V design, providing a simple, low-profile configuration that offers an extensive field of view. To prevent confusion between the front and rear sights in high-stress situations, we use a "dot-the-i" sight picture, featuring a tritium dot in the front and a reflective white stripe in the rear.
