Description
The XS Lever Rail Ghost Ring Sight Set is a combined mount and iron sight system for the Marlin 336 and Ruger 336 lever-action rifles with round barrels. The extended base provides a long Picatinny rail surface that can carry an optic over the receiver in the traditional position or forward in a scout-scope position.
The rear of the base carries a ghost ring aperture designed to pair with a white stripe express front sight, giving a fallback iron sight. The aluminum rail is hard-coat anodized and the steel sights have a matte finish. The rear ghost ring may need to be removed when mounting a scope in the standard position, depending on the ring height used.
The rail accepts Weaver or Picatinny style rings. The set is designed for round barrels only and will not work with octagonal barrels. Installation uses the existing screw holes on compatible models.
