The XS Sight Systems Standard Dot Brass front sight is a replacement front sight for Colt Cobra and Colt King Cobra revolvers. It is intended for range and field use, where a high-visibility front sight is preferred.
The sight is CNC machined from steel and fitted with a hand-polished, convex brass bead measuring 0.140 inches. The convex face is described as reflecting more ambient light than flat-faced factory sights, and the brass finish is given a light protective layer to limit oxidation.
The sight is supplied as a single front sight for the Colt Cobra and King Cobra. The retailer notes that brass is not a substitute for tritium night sights on an everyday carry revolver.
