Description
The XS Sights DXS XTI2 45 Degree Offset BUIS is a secondary iron sight set for the AR-15, designed as a backup or transition sight for a magnified primary optic. Its straight-line express sight picture suits close-range and rapid target acquisition, and the taller bases allow alignment without breaking a standard cheek weld.
The front sight is an orange Ember Standard Dot 0.140 inches wide, intended to stand out in bright light and to hold a glow in shadows and low-light settings. The rear sight is black with a white stripe. The bases are machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and the sights are CNC-machined steel. The base angle is increased to clear wider lens optics.
The set is intended for the AR-15 platform and is described as suited to three-gun competition, where stages may involve vehicles or backlighting.
