Description
The A-Zoom Action Proving Dummy Round in 38 Super is a snap cap used for dry fire practice, training, and function testing. It lets you cycle a 38 Super pistol's action without live ammunition, which is useful for practicing reloads, checking feed and extraction, and teaching safe handling.
Each dummy round is machined from aluminum and finished with a hard anodized coating in red, which helps distinguish it from live ammunition. The raw text states the rounds are made to close tolerances and that the spring can be left relaxed during storage to extend spring life.
These rounds are sold in a pack of five and are intended for 38 Super pistols. The raw text lists a dry fire hit rating of 3000+.
