Area 419 Mausingfield Finger Groove Bolt Knob Type 3 Black

Area 419 Bolt Knob Features The Area 419 Bolt Knob was engineered specifically to be an all around upgrade for competition and general precision rifle use on a Mausingfield action. Its central finger groove is the standout feature automatically catching the shooter s finger so the bolt can be run quickly without searching for the right hand position on every cycle. This reduces the time lost between shots during timed competition stages and helps build consistent repeatable bolt manipulation technique. The knurled sections on either side of the groove add extra traction for a confident grip in any condition. Machined from aluminum and finished with a Type 3 hard anodize coating the knob is built to resist wear from repeated use and handle the environmental exposure that comes with field and competition shooting. It threads onto a 5/16x24 pattern designed to fit the Mausingfield action directly and at just 1.63 inches long and 0.2 pounds it adds negligible bulk to the rifle. The black finish keeps the knob low profile while matching most competition rifle builds. For Mausingfield owners looking to shave time off their bolt cycle this Area 419 knob is a purpose built upgrade worth adding.
