Armaspec BBS Braided Wire Buffer Spring AR-15

The Armaspec BBS Braided Wire Buffer Spring is a replacement buffer spring for AR-15 mil-spec buffer systems. It is built from braided wire in black and is designed to be a direct upgrade over a standard mil-spec buffer spring.

The braid uses 51 active coils intended to keep tighter tolerances under compression, and a three-strand design is meant to absorb and disperse energy from the bolt carrier evenly during cycling. The manufacturer states the spring lasts more than twice as long as a standard mil-spec buffer spring.

The spring fits over standard buffer weights and can be paired with most buffers on the market. A drop-over spacer that sits on the buffer to keep the spring from over-traveling the tapered buffer body is included. The spring should be slid onto the buffer rather than snapped over the ledge, and the spacer must be installed correctly if used.
