The Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring SRS-H3 Gen 4 is a self-contained, multi-stage drop-in replacement for a standard AR-15 carbine buffer and spring. Its buffer mass is designed to stay under constant tension against the bolt carrier, and its second stage is intended to reduce felt recoil. The design also keeps the buffer spring from rubbing against the inner wall of the buffer tube, which the maker says supports smooth, quiet operation.

The unit weighs 5.6 ounces and is black in finish. It fits a standard AR-15 carbine buffer tube and is intended for Gen 4 AR-15 carbine bolt carriers with a rear opening over 0.60 square inches.
