Armaspec Stealth SRS-9 Gen 4 Recoil Spring Assembly 9mm Carbine

The Armaspec Stealth SRS-9 Gen 4 is a self-contained, multi-stage drop-in recoil spring assembly for AR-15 carbines chambered in 9mm Luger. It replaces the standard buffer and spring, with the stated goals of keeping the buffer spring from rubbing against the inner wall of the buffer tube for smoother, quieter operation and of reducing felt recoil through its second stage. The buffer mass is designed to stay under constant tension against the bolt carrier.

The assembly weighs 6.4 ounces and is black in color. It is intended for AR-15 9mm bolt carriers with a rear opening over 0.60 square inch; carriers with a smaller rear opening are reported not to function with it. For proper function in a 9mm rifle or pistol, the extra weight on the back of the bolt carrier must be removed, which is held in place by a spring pin.
