Barnes TTSX 308 168 Grain Polymer Tip Boat Tail Bullets 50 Count

The Barnes TTSX 308 is a 168-grain boat-tail bullet made for reloading .308 Winchester ammunition for hunting. It is constructed from 100% copper with no lead content and has a polymer tip that raises the ballistic coefficient and supports long-range performance. Four cutting petals open on impact to roughly double the bullet diameter for fast expansion.

The bullet has a 0.308-inch diameter for use in 30-caliber rifles, weighs 168 grains, and has an overall length of 1.42 inches. Rings are cut into the shank of the copper body. Barnes recommends initially seating the bullet 0.050 inch off the lands, with best accuracy generally found between 0.030 and 0.070 inch depending on the rifle. This package contains 50 bullets per box. These are components only and are not loaded ammunition.
