Dual thumb studs allow quick 1-hand opening; and Benchmade's Axis locking mechanism ensures the blade will never close in your hand during rugged use. The ergonomics of the Crooked River Folding Knife are excellent. A long curving handle made with Dymondwood laminate hardwood panels and aluminum bolsters balances superbly in the hand. A pronounced finger choil and back jimping on the full stainless steel liners keep the hand from sliding foreword when thrusting. A reversible, tip-up split arrow pocket clip allows you to conveniently carry your Crooked River Folding Knife in a pocket where it is easily accessible.
