Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Liquid Gun Blue Kit 8 Piece

The Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Liquid Kit is a gunsmithing kit for applying a blue/black finish to steel firearm parts. It is intended for touching up nicks and scratches as well as re-bluing a complete firearm.

The liquid gun blue is designed for steel parts only and is not suitable for stainless steel. Parts to be blued must be free of rust and oil. The process is applied without heat, using a swab or sponge, and the manufacturer recommends the included Cleaner-Degreaser for cleaning the metal beforehand.

The kit contains 3-ounce bottles of Perma Blue liquid gun blue, Blue and Rust Remover, and Cleaner-Degreaser, along with two rust preventative cloths, two rolls of 2/0 steel wool, a #400 wet or dry blue remover cloth, a non-woven cloth, two polyester blueing applicators, and a sponge.
