Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Paste Cold Blue Kit

The Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Cold Blue Kit is a bundled set for touching up or re-blueing steel firearm parts with a blue/black finish. It is intended for repairing nicks and scratches as well as refinishing a complete firearm.

The paste gun blue is applied without heat, typically with a swab, and is designed to produce a non-streaky, even finish on steel. It does not fit stainless steel. The metal should be free of rust and oil before application, and the kit includes a cleaner-degreaser and a blue and rust remover for preparation.

The kit contains a 2 ounce bottle of Perma Blue Paste, a 3 ounce Blue and Rust Remover, a 3 ounce Cleaner-Degreaser, rust preventative cloths, two rolls of 2/0 steel wool, #400 wet or dry blue remover cloth, non-woven cloth, two polyester blueing applicators, and a sponge.
