Description
Lucas Oil Extreme Duty Bore Solvent is a solvent-based gun cleaner for firearms. The raw description says it is used and recommended by major firearms manufacturers and is designed to remove carbon and powder residue from actions, along with copper and lead fouling from cylinders and barrels.
The formula is described as cleaning deeply to remove old oils and grease while leaving a thin layer of rust and corrosion inhibitor on metal surfaces and bores. The manufacturer states it is safe on polymers and factory-applied firearm finishes. Its high flash point makes it suitable for heated ultrasonic cleaner tanks, and it can be used straight from the bottle without mixing, rinsing agent, or lubrication dip.
This 4 oz liquid bottle is intended for use with firearms.
