Brownells AR-15 Bolt Cam Pin Black

Brownells AR-15 Bolt Cam Pin Features The Brownells AR-15 Bolt Cam Pin is a small but critical component that engages the cam pin channel in the upper receiver to rotate the bolt during the firing cycle. As the bolt carrier group travels rearward the cam pin forces the bolt to rotate and unlock from the barrel extension and it reverses that motion on the return stroke to lock the action back up. Without a properly functioning cam pin an AR-15 cannot cycle correctly or maintain safe lockup. This OEM replacement part is built to fit standard AR-15 and M16 platforms. Because the cam pin sees repeated wear with every cycle keeping a spare on hand is a smart practice for anyone who shoots their AR-15 regularly or is assembling a parts rifle. This black finished cam pin is a direct fit replacement for a worn or damaged factory pin making installation straightforward during a bolt carrier group service. Builders completing a new upper receiver assembly will also need a compatible cam pin to finish the build. Brownells offers this part as an affordable reliable option for routine maintenance or emergency spares.
