Brownells Ejection Port Cover Spring Silver for AR-15 3-Pack

Brownells Ejection Port Cover Spring Features The Brownells Ejection Port Cover Spring is manufactured from chrome silicon spring steel a material chosen for its ability to hold consistent tension through repeated flexing without taking a permanent set. That durability matters because the ejection port cover on an AR-15 opens and closes with every single shot fired cycling thousands of times over the life of a well used rifle. A tired factory spring eventually loses its snap leaving the cover to hang open or close sluggishly which lets dust and debris into the action. Replacing it with a properly tempered chrome silicon spring restores the crisp positive closure the design was meant to have. Because these springs are manufactured to tolerances at least equal to OEM parts they drop into a standard AR-15 upper without any modification or special fitting. Selling them as a 3-pack makes it practical to keep spares on the bench for a home armorer running several rifles or to build a small parts kit for an emergency repair at the range. This is exactly the kind of inexpensive easy to overlook component that keeps an older AR-15 functioning like new. Whether servicing a well worn parts rifle or simply stocking up on spares this pack covers that need without any guesswork.
