Brownells AR-15 Standard Buffer Body Assembly

Brownells Buffer Body Assembly Features The Brownells AR-15 Standard Buffer Body Assembly was developed as a direct replacement after a major original manufacturer stopped producing this widely used part ensuring builders and owners still have access to a reliable standard buffer. The buffer body works inside the buffer tube to absorb recoil energy and help drive the bolt carrier group forward into battery after each shot. A properly weighted correctly functioning buffer is essential to reliable cycling and this assembly is built to match the dimensions and function of the original standard configuration. It is a straightforward swap for anyone replacing a worn damaged or missing buffer body. Compatible with the universal AR-15 platform this buffer body assembly fits into a standard carbine or rifle length buffer tube without modification. It is a useful part for builders assembling a complete lower receiver from individual components since the buffer assembly is one of the most functionally important pieces in the system. Brownells stepped in to fill a supply gap left by another manufacturer giving the AR-15 community continued access to this essential part. This assembly is a dependable choice for anyone maintaining or building an AR-15 lower.
