Brownells Formula 44/40 Cold Blue 2 oz 12 Pack

Brownells Formula 44/40 Cold Blue Features The Brownells Formula 44/40 cold blue has long been an industry standard and Brownells acquired the original high-speed formula and legendary name to keep it available to its many fans. The bluing action is nearly instant: dampen a patch wipe the formula onto the prepared steel then immediately wipe it off with a dry patch and the color penetrates deep into the metal rather than sitting on the surface. Surface preparation is simple requiring only cleaning and degreasing before application whether the job is a small scratch touch-up or a full external and internal refinish. This formula gives gun owners and gunsmiths professional-grade results without specialized equipment. Each carton in this pack contains twelve 2 ounce bottles providing plenty of product for a shop that handles frequent touch-up work or for a serious hobbyist stocking up. Beyond firearm bluing Formula 44/40 s quick action and dark color make it a useful substitute for traditional layout fluid darkening steel so scribed lines show clearly with no buildup to interfere with dimension readings. It also works well for darkening lathe and cutting tools before sharpening or for aging brass and copper parts in restoration projects. This 12-pack is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for anyone who wants a dependable cold blue solution on the workbench.
