Browning X-Bolt 2 Hells Canyon Max LR 6.8 Western 26" Bolt-Action Rifle

Browning X-Bolt 2 Hells Canyon Max LR Features The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hells Canyon Max LR is built around a redesigned receiver and a spiral fluted bolt both protected by a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish that resists the elements better than traditional bluing. Chambered in 6.8 Western with a 5 round capacity through the Plus Magazine System the rifle is drilled and tapped and uses Browning s X-Lock Scope Mounting System which anchors each base with four screws for a rock-solid optic mount. The 26 inch fluted heavy sporter barrel carries a 1:7.5 inch twist rate matched to heavier 6.8 Western bullets for long range accuracy and the barrel is threaded 5/8x24 to accept the included Recoil Hawg muzzle brake. That brake is rated to reduce felt recoil by up to 76 percent and a thread protector ships alongside it for when the brake is removed. The composite Max stock wears a full Ovix camouflage finish and includes an adjustable comb so shooters can dial in proper eye-to-scope alignment for a consistent cheek weld. An aluminum Picatinny rail on the forend adds a swivel stud for bipod mounting giving the rifle a stable rest for long range precision shooting. A 1-1/4 inch Inflex recoil pad further reduces felt recoil while included 1/4 and 2/3 inch length of pull spacers allow the stock to be tuned to the individual shooter. An extended bolt handle with an ergonomic knob shape and a tang safety round out the rifle s controls giving hunters a fast confident platform for taking big game at extended ranges.
