Like all X-Bolt 2 rifles, the Hunter Composite is built on a new receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling. The bolt is also new with weight-saving spiral fluting and a new handle knob.A light, sporter contour barrel offers a great blend of accuracy and weight savings. The muzzle is threaded M13x0.75 to accept the included radial muzzle brake, thread protector cap, or install an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake for extra reduction in recoil. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.
