BSF Barrels 257 (25 Cal) 18in 1-7.5 Threaded Carbon Fiber Barrel

Bsf Barrels Barrel Features The Bsf Barrels Barrel is built from a turned-down 416R stainless steel match barrel jacketed in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve applied under tension rather than simply wrapped over the surface. This approach was chosen specifically to prevent the heat trapping and delamination problems associated with traditional surface-wrapped carbon fiber barrels. The carbon fiber material is engineered to expand at the same rate as the 416R stainless steel underneath it which helps keep the rifling straighter as the barrel heats during extended shooting sessions. For barrels where porting is selected machined slots in the carbon fiber allow air to circulate and vent heat without compromising the carbon fiber jacket. Chambered in .257 / 25 Cal and built on a bolt action this 18 inch barrel features a 1:7.5 twist rate suited to the common bullet weights in this caliber family. A 5/8x24 thread pattern allows for a wide range of compatible muzzle devices and suppressors. Button rifling provides a smooth consistent bore finish that supports long-term accuracy and ease of cleaning. By maintaining tension through the wrapping process Bsf Barrels delivers superior stiffness and strength while keeping the barrel extremely lightweight making it a strong choice for precision bolt action builds for sale at ARMSAGORA.
