BSF Barrels 25 Caliber 22" 1:7.5 Twist Threaded AR Barrel

BSF Barrels Barrel Features The Bsf Barrels bolt action barrel starts as a turned down 416R stainless steel match barrel selected for its machinability and ability to hold tight dimensional tolerances through the rifling process. That barrel core is then jacketed in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension a construction approach chosen because it avoids the heat trapping and delamination issues that come with simpler carbon fiber wrapping methods. The carbon fiber is engineered to expand at the same rate as the stainless steel beneath it keeping the bond intact even as the barrel heats up during firing. This barrel is not ported keeping the profile clean for shooters who prefer a traditional muzzle appearance. Chambered for .257 / .25 Cal cartridges with a 1:7.5 twist rate this 22 inch button rifled barrel is built to stabilize a range of bullet weights common in these calibers. Button rifling produces exceptionally consistent bore dimensions directly contributing to tighter more repeatable groups at distance. At 41 ounces the barrel keeps a manageable weight thanks to the carbon fiber jacketing lighter than a comparable all-steel barrel of the same dimensions. With a 5/8x24 thread pattern for muzzle device compatibility this barrel offers precision rifle shooters a straightforward way to upgrade an existing bolt action build for sale at ARMSAGORA.
