BSF Barrels 25 Caliber 20" 1:7.5 Twist Rifle Barrel

BSF Barrels Barrel Features The Bsf Barrels .257/25 Cal barrel starts with a 416R stainless steel match barrel that is turned down before being jacketed in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension. This jacketing method was specifically chosen because it avoids the heat-trapping and delamination issues that come from simply wrapping a barrel in carbon fiber after the fact. The carbon fiber itself is engineered to expand at the same rate as the 416R stainless steel it covers keeping the bond stable as the barrel heats up through repeated strings of fire. Because the barrel is not ported in this configuration the muzzle stays free of venting slots for shooters who prefer a cleaner unported profile. Button rifled with a 1:7.5 inch twist and six grooves the barrel is cut to stabilize bullets commonly loaded in .257 and 25 caliber cartridges at extended range. Threaded 5/8x24 it accepts standard muzzle devices and suppressors without requiring an additional adapter. At 20 inches long and about 39 ounces the barrel keeps enough bore length for full ballistic performance while the carbon fiber wrap keeps total weight manageable on a bolt action rifle. The Bsf Barrels .257/25 Cal barrel is for sale at ARMSAGORA for precision shooters who want a lightweight stiff carbon-wrapped replacement barrel.
