BSF Barrels Button Rifled Barrel Carbon Fiber 7mm 24" 1:8 Bolt Action

Bsf Barrels Button Rifled Barrel Features The Bsf Barrels Button Rifled Barrel in 7mm uses a jacketing method rather than a direct carbon wrap because direct wraps have been shown to trap heat and cause delamination over time. The carbon fiber sleeve is specially formulated to move at the same expansion rate as the 416R stainless steel barrel underneath so the union stays sound as the barrel heats up during strings of fire. Loading the sleeve under tension keeps the rifling straighter the warmer the barrel gets which helps maintain group consistency on longer range sessions. Button rifling with a 1:8 twist and six grooves gives the bore a smooth consistent finish suited to stabilizing heavier 7mm bullets. At 24 long and roughly 42.3 ounces this barrel keeps the lightweight profile carbon fiber construction is known for without sacrificing the strength of a true stainless match barrel. A 5/8x24 thread pattern accepts standard muzzle devices and suppressors for shooters who want to manage recoil or sound. The barrel ships in a not ported configuration though the carbon jacketing method allows for a ported option to vent heat faster without risking delamination. Built for bolt action rifles this barrel is a strong choice for hunters and long range shooters wanting a precise lightweight upgrade for sale at ARMSAGORA.
