Description
The Butler Creek Flip-Open Objective Lens Cover #43 is a black polymer cap that protects the front objective lens of a riflescope from dust, moisture and debris. It flips open with a thumb press and is designed to be used by either right- or left-handed shooters, with finger tabs on both sides of the cover.
The cover is a slip-on design that seats on the objective bell with a friction mount and a semi O-ring to hold it in place. It has a matte finish and fits objective lenses with a 58.70 mm (2.31 in) outside diameter, corresponding to size #43 and a 59 mm objective.
To confirm fit, check the scope's owner's manual or measure the objective's outside diameter with calipers and select the size whose range sits slightly above that measurement.
