FN Custom Mauser 35 Whelen Bolt Action Rifle with Tasco 2-7x Scope

This FN Mauser-action rifle is chambered in the powerful .35 Whelen and remains in very good overall condition. Features include a stainless barrel, durable black synthetic stock, controlled-round-feed bolt action, and a mounted Tasco 2-7x riflescope. The metal finish and stock show only light handling wear, making this a practical hunting setup well-suited for large game while offering the reliability and smooth operation for which FN Mauser actions are known. Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Belgium produced some of the finest commercial Mauser actions of the 20th century, and many were used by custom gunsmiths and manufacturers to build high-quality sporting rifles. The .35 Whelen cartridge, standardized by Remington in 1988 after decades as a popular wildcat round, has earned a reputation as an effective big-game cartridge capable of taking elk, moose, and bear.
