The Marlin 915Y is a classic, original "JM" stamped bolt-action single-shot rimfire rifle designed specifically as a safe and highly accurate training platform for younger shooters. Manufactured in 2004 at the original Marlin facility, this compact rifle features a genuine Marlin-made Micro-Groove rifled barrel for excellent precision. Built with youth ergonomics in mind, it boasts a walnut-finished hardwood stock with a shortened length of pull for a comfortable, lightweight fit. For maximum safety, the 915Y utilizes an easy-load feed ramp for manual single-round loading and a reliable thumb safety that allows loading while fully engaged. Please note that the rear sight elevator is missing, but it remains an ideal choice for instilling proper shooting fundamentals or serving as a restoration project.
